EPLAN, Pilz, Rittal and WAGO, four companies in automation and advanced manufacturing that have a presence in Canada with their headquarters in Germany, are hosting Canada’s inaugural German Technology Days.

The focus of these events will be understanding the impact of Industry 4.0 in Canada, and highlighting the challenges brought forward by the paradigm shift taking place in the industry today. Each company will share their latest solutions, and introduce participants to innovative industry technologies.

The German Technology Days will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Mississauga on November 19, 2019, and at Crowne Plaza in Kitchener on November 21, 2019.

Attendees can choose to attend morning or afternoon sessions to hear presentations from company thought leaders. Gurvinder Chopra, VP, standards and regulations at Electro-Federation Canada, will presents the luncheon keynote “The Synergy between Innovation and Standardization.”

An integrated demo featuring solutions of all the companies is being developed specially for these events: EPLAN Design Engineering will be used to build a Rittal enclosure in their Modification Centre, incorporating their climate control and power distribution solutions, equipped with security solutions from Pilz and connectivity solutions from WAGO.

Three attendees will win the opportunity to an all-expenses paid trip to Germany to attend the Hannover Messe 2020, and tour these companies’ Industry 4.0 manufacturing facilities.
